Hello everyone

It is hard to believe that October is just around the corner, the summer I feel just flew by..

Just a little catch up as we head into the winter months.

It has been a busy couple of months as we just celebrated the Big Tom Weekend in Castleblayney and Oram, it was a great success and it proves that Tom has never been forgotten.

On Sunday members of the Mainliners ( Big Tom’s Band) were awarded the freedom of the town which was very moving, Big Tom and Paddy Cole were honoured years ago.

As the Awards were presented I got a beautiful surprise and a shock, Monaghan County Council honoured me also. I am proud and delighted.

On October 22nd I am doing my last headline concert in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. I have decided not to tour on an ongoing basis, I won’t ever retire, I can always do guest spots now and then.

All of my fans have been so loyal and I love them dearly.

I hope many of you can make it on 22nd October as it will be a special night, my guests Shunie Crampsie, Damien Davis will join me along with the Ryan Turner Band plus a few surprises on the night.
